History of Naventus
Introduction
This document provides a brief history of
Naventus. Naventus
was developed by EH Technologies, Inc. to assist the body in healing itself
by generating precise vibrational frequencies using a variety of energy emitters.
These vibrations affect the subtle energy systems of our bodies, helping achieve
homeostasis. Naventus
has been used and studied in a variety of therapeutic settings from massage and
physical therapy to sleep problems and general muscle and joint pain. Studies have
shown Naventus to be effective
in helping people fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer and awaken feeling refreshed
and revitalized, in improving therapeutic response during massage and physical therapy
and in reducing pain and inflammation. It provides vibrational homeopathic therapy
delivered in a patent pending EnergyWave form.
Naventus’ Genesis
When conventional therapies failed to halt the spread of breast cancer or even
alleviate its symptoms in the wife of
Naventus co-inventor, James Honeycutt, he tried a number of
complementary and alternative therapy electromagnetic devices. Two of these
were successful in improving some of his wife’s, Lulu, symptoms. However, none
were successful in halting the spread of the cancer and she passed away six
months after the failure of conventional therapies, after a courageous three year battle.
Prior to her passing it was her desire to spend her last days at their home in the
Caribbean. While in the Bahamas her legs and ankles began to swell excessively
and they did not have access to the device which had helped alleviate this symptom.
James prayed for inspiration and following the insights he built a simple water footbath
using a wall transformer power supply connected to two copper pipes, inserted
inside PVC pipes. He mixed hot water with sea-water and placed the pipes and
water in a foot tub with his wife’s feet for one hour each day. By the second day
the swelling was gone in her feet, ankles and calves.
James recorded the experiences associated with the use of each of the alternative
and complementary therapy electromagnetic devices and methodologies employed
to treat his late wife. He became impressed with understanding why some devices
had worked and others had not. James solicited the support of another engineer/
scientist, his father John Honeycutt, with whom to collaborate and they formed EH
Technologies, Inc (EHTEK) to study these devices. The name EH refers to the Energy
field and the H-field or resultant magnetic field created when energy flows through a
circuit. The corporate logo depicts the E field as an arrow shooting upwards and the
H-Field as the resultant magnetic field spiraling around the flow of energy.
Victoria Honeycutt, a Licensed Massage Practitioner, joined EH Technologies, Inc. and
took an active role in the new endeavor by applying the burgeoning technologies in her
massage practice and developing specialized treatment methodologies and new
applications in the healthcare field.
Research and Testing
EHTEK acquired a variety of available electromagnetic therapy devices to understand
which ones were effective and for those that were, what could have contributed to their
effectiveness. All of the electromagnetic therapy devices acquired had several disadvantages.
Generally, the effective personal use devices were expensive, costing at the time $1,500
and more. Even with training they were still difficult to use, required specific procedural
steps or ancillary devices to be effective and to ensure they were safely administered.
Professional devices required a trained therapist to administer the treatment, extensive
training for personal use, or surgical implantation and were over ten times more expensive.
Some devices used transcutaneous or subcutaneous electrodes to administer electrical
impulses (sometimes emitting uncomfortable shocks) to the patient. Further, their use
was invasive into the daily routine for both healthy and ill individuals.
The acquired electromagnetic therapy devices researched fell into four categories;
First were high energy devices that produce a large Electrical (voltage) field, some measuring
over 45,000 volts and emitted through a plasma, neon or other special gas tube or
specially constructed bifilar wound coils.
The second category were those devices which produced an electrical shock through
low current emissions through direct contact with the skin, and is some cases measured
the skin’s resistance to provide user feedback.
The third category were devices that used LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) in both the
visible and infrared range of light energies that pulsed at specific frequencies and
were designed to relieve pain.
The fourth category were those devices that used water as the transfer medium of
the healing vibrational energies and purportedly were able to flush toxins out of the
body through the skin submerged in the water.
The second and fourth category devices had been used with the inventor’s late wife
to alleviate the symptoms associated with reduced mobility and partial paralysis
associated with advancing cancer.
The testing and research included studying the types of waveforms, which
frequency or frequencies to use and whether such frequencies should be pure
or include harmonics of the fundamentals. Some devices used pure, sinusoidal
wave frequencies; whereas others used saw-tooth or other irregular waves in
order to be rich in harmonics. EHTEK’s extensive research and testing determined
which waveforms, frequencies, and levels to use to be both effective and safe.
After studying these devices EHTEK had one overriding goal; developing a truly
effective device which had to be SIMPLE. It had to be simple to use, simple to
understand and simple to acquire. EHTEK discovered a number of non-obvious
and novel methods to overcome the disadvantages in existing electromagnetic
therapy devices resulting in new ways to generate the best waveforms, frequencies,
and levels. The Naventus
family of subtle EnergyWave Therapy Products is the result of this research and
development. The name Naventus
is a contraction of three Latin words Navitas (Energy) Vento (Wave)
Tractatus (Therapy).
